Ethernet Communication Analyzer
Developed for Lockheed Martin, the analyzer provides field support for navy range testing. This hardware and software was developed to function on a Palm Pilot handheld. This allowed the user to have a convenient means for field testing connections and wiring out on the range.
The technologies employed included the Xilinx Coolrunner FPGA's and and compact component layout as well as power management techniques to reduce power consumption.
This handheld test equipment allowed for simple test of communication lines and system configuration.
This system has been deployed to Fallon Naval Base, Nevada.
